Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended)

Article 42: This law says that it’s not okay to treat people unfairly because of their gender (whether they are male or female), their religion, or their ethnicity (where they come from or their cultural background).

Article 15(2): This law makes it clear that nobody should be forced to work against their will or be treated like they are owned by someone else. It’s particularly important because slavery and forced labor often harm women and girls more than men, and this law aims to protect everyone from these terrible practices.
