With a focus on Africa, the Invictus Africa DEI Index measures the performance of private businesses, non-governmental organizations, and government institutions in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in their workplaces.
The Invictus Africa DEI Index bases its assessment and ranking on the existing workplace policies, processes, procedures, and practices for promoting effective representation and participation of historically marginalized and structurally disadvantaged populations based on gender, marital status, ethnicity, age, disability, religion, socioeconomic class, educational level, and location/geography.
The Invictus Africa DEI Index is premised on key indicators drawn from three broad performance pillars: representation, accessibility, and perception. The performance pillars and key indicators are uniquely designed for each country based on what is permissible within the ambits of their laws and in alignment with international human rights standards.
